The Following are the Terms and Conditions for Participation at Bangalore Fashion Week Summer 27th Edition.

  • Solo Runway Show [Solo Show with 14 / 28 Ensembles/Accessories]
  • Double Runway Show [Double Show with 8 / 14 Ensembles/Accessories]
  • Display Rack at Multi Designer Store: Rs, 15,000/- Additional
  • All Rates are Exclusive of applicable Taxes

A 5% Commissions is applicable on all Sales at BFW Multi Designer Store at the Event Venue.

The Commission includes Applicable Taxes, Packing, Credit / Debit Card transactions Fees, Sales Personal, etc.

THE ABOVE PARTICIPATION FEE INCLUDES:

  • Venues include Runway, Lighting, Sound and Seating.
  • Professional Male and Female Models.
  • Backstage Area.
  • Professional staff (on-site): Lighting, Sound and Stage Designers, Show Running Crew, Technical and Production personnel, Venue manager, Maintenance and Cleaning staff, Hair and Make-Up Crew, Stylists and BackstageAssistants.
  • BFW will Compile and Produce Original/Customized Music exclusively for each Participating Designer Label/Brand. The Music Artists/Specialists will create Music for the Runway Shows based on the Themes provided
  • Buyer-Designer Meet Room at the Venue.
  • Security by Venue’s staff.
  • On-Site Volunteers and ushers.
  • Official Press / Media List of pre-qualified photographers, camera crews, editors and journalists.
  • BFW official Internal event photographer and video crew.
  • Name & Label Logo Inclusion in the official Bangalore Fashion Week website - http://www.BangaloreFashionWeek.in
  • Logo, name and link to the participant’s website on the BFW website (Logo of The Designer Label/Brand to be provided in EPS or High-Resolution PNG format (Minimum Pixel Size – 1000x1000).)
  • Photo shoots to make the collection available for sale on Wear.Style, International Online Style Store.
  • No Cancellations are entertained once the application is singed.
  • On no show or cancellation there is NO REFUND.
  • There is NO REFUND whatsoever post signing and payments made.
  • Bangalore Fashion Week does not guarantee any Kind of Sales or Footfalls at BFW Multi Designer Store OR the Shows.

Dates and venues may change. However, Bangalore Fashion Week will do its best to commit to the listed dates. In case of any changes, designers will be notified immediately.

Bangalore Fashion Week Summer 27th Edition GUIDELINES:

GENERAL:

  1. Bangalore Fashion Week Summer 27th Edition (20th to 23rd February 2025) will be held at Bangalore, India
  2. The Participating Designers and their assisting team members must wear the Identity Badges provided at all times during BFW.
  3. All Participating Designers must fully co-operate with Dream Merchants and attend functions and Press Conferences during BFW.
  4. Dream Merchants will invite Buyers/Journalists from India and overseas on behalf of the Participating Designers but does not guarantee any turnouts
  5. Dream Merchants will extend invitations on behalf of the designer to the audience but does not guarantee any turnouts.
  6. If you have a Celebrity Showstopper walking for your show, please make sure that the Showstopper is approved by our team and the showstopper along with the Lead Designer is at the Backstage at least 30 Minutes before the show start time.
  7. If the showstopper and or Lead Designer is not at the Backstage on the schedule time, then our team will be forced to start and conclude the show without the presence of the Showstopper and or Lead Designer.
  8. DESIGNS: 
    • You must present at least 14 Ensembles/Accessories, but no more than 28 pieces for the Solo Shows.
    • You must present at least 8 Ensembles/Accessories, but no more than 14 pieces for the Double Shows.
    • The BFW Selection Panel must see samples of your work before approving your participation. Quality construction is key.
    • WhatsApp / E-mail pictures of at least 4 Ensembles/Accessories designed by you in the recent past along with the Application Form.
    • The BFW Team must receive a look board (photos of the garments in the show) 2 Weeks Before the Fittings.
    • All final fittings must be completed during the Fitting Schedules of the Event. If you need a stylist for fittings, BFW can provide you with one, a stylist fee will apply.
    • Any Ensembles/Accessories not on your look board or line images submitted will NOT go on the Runway.
    • There will be no refunds for Ensembles/Accessories, lines or models removed due to non-compliance to designer agreement.
    • All Participating Designers must adhere to the Fitting and Photo shoot Schedule drawn by the BFW team.
  9. HAIR & MAKE-UP:
    • BFW will provide hair and make-up for the Runway Show. All models’ hair and makeup done by our team will have the look our Makeup Designer creates.
    • All Participating Designers in the show shall work in close association with their hair and makeup artist and decide on a look well in advance.
    • All designers who have their own hair and makeup team must limit show entrance to their lead team members only. Each Participating Designer will receive 4 backstage passes for team members who will work backstage. These passes are not for show seating.
  10. MODELS:
    • BFW will provide Professional Male and Female Models for the Runway Show. Any Model not contracted by BFW and not been seen at a casting will not be permitted to walk.
    • No Showstopper or Model will be permitted to walk without the Casting Director’s approval and the decision of the Casting Director will be final.
    • The Runway Shows at BFW are for you to present the collection o the buyers and build your private clientele. The models are expected to walk from the top of the runway and back. Kindly do not have the models stop halfway down the Runway to spin, dance or twirl during the show. Not only does it throw off the timing of the
    • show but also impacts the attention to your line on the Runway.
    • The Participating Designers will help to undress their models and verify that all outfits have been returned and all accessories been accounted for. BFW takes no responsibility for lost or stolen garments or accessories.
  11. RUNWAY SHOW:
    • All Participating Designers and Models must be on site at least 2 hours prior to the start of their Runway Show.
    • BFW team determines the line-up of the show and the timing of the models’ walk.
    • BFW team will decide the length of the Runway and pattern of the walk for the Runway Shows and platforms.
    • The Participating Designer(s) must stand at the curtain or entrance of the Runway to approve each model walking and make any last-minute prep if any to Ensemble/Accessories during the Runway Show.
    • The Participating Designer(s) must wait backstage until all of the models have walked the Runway and present themselves before the audience afterwards.
    • The Participating Designer(s) must assign at least one person to secure/manage their clothing racks and accessories.
    • The Participating Designer(s) must vacate the Backstage and Main Show Area (MSA) Immediately after their Runway Show. If necessary, an assisting team member of the designer can stay back to collect the Apparels and Accessories.
    • Any brochures/catalogues/notes placed on the seats at the MSA must be picked up immediately after the Runway Show.
    • The Music Artists/Specialists will produce an Original background track for the Runway Show based on the Theme provided by the Participating Designer(s.) All Rights to the Music are reserved with BFWTunes.
    • Any preferred music must be delivered 10 days prior to the event and must be 20 minutes in length and a premixed radio mix version on Pen Drive only. The Music submitted must be originally produced and must be supported with a written declaration and permission granted to Dream Merchants to use the music at the event.
    • Any video to be projected during your show must be delivered on (2) copies, pre-tested, 25 days prior to the event. Timing should be tested by the designer based on length of 60-foot Runway and number of Ensembles/Accessories being presented. The Participating Designer(s) must submit a separate audio track of 20 minutes as a failsafe to video problems occurring. All video footage to be projected is subject to approval.

OTHER:

  1. BFW reserves the right to add additional Display times, days and locations.
  2. Participating Designers will conduct themselves professionally at all times.
