Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Wear.Style (the “Site” or “we”) collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from the Site.

Collecting personal information

When you visit the Site, we collect certain information about your device, your interaction with the Site, and information necessary to process your purchases. We may also collect additional information if you contact us for customer support. In this Privacy Policy, we refer to any information that can uniquely identify an individual (including the information below) as “Personal Information”.

Device information

Examples collected: browser version, IP address, time zone, cookie information, pages or products you view, search terms, and how you interact with the Site.
Purpose: to load the Site accurately for you, and to analyse Site usage so we can improve it.
Source: collected automatically via cookies, log files, tags, and pixels.

Order information

Examples collected: name, billing and shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number.
Purpose: to fulfil our contract with you — process payment, arrange shipping, provide invoices and order confirmations, communicate with you, screen orders for risk or fraud, and (where you've opted in) send information about products or offers.
Source: collected directly from you.

Customer support information

Collected directly from you, and used to provide customer support.

Sharing personal information

We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfil our contracts with you. We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Behavioural advertising

We use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you.

Using personal information

We use your Personal Information to provide our services to you — offering products for sale, processing payments, shipping and fulfilling your order, and keeping you up to date on new products, services, and offers.

Lawful basis

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal information under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on one of the following bases: your consent; performance of our contract with you; compliance with a legal obligation; protecting your vital interests; a task carried out in the public interest; or our legitimate interests, where these do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.

Retention

When you place an order through the Site, we retain your Personal Information for our records unless and until you ask us to erase it. See “Your rights” below.

Automatic decision-making

We do not engage in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect using customer data. Our processor uses limited automated decision-making only to prevent fraud — for example, a short-lived denylist of IP addresses or cards associated with repeated failed transactions — which does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.

Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

If you are a resident of the EEA or California, you have the right to access the Personal Information we hold about you, to port it to a new service, and to ask that it be corrected, updated, or erased. To exercise these rights, or to designate an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf, please contact us using the details below.

Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of information downloaded to your device when you visit our Site. We use functional, performance, advertising, and social/content cookies to remember your preferences (like login and region), understand how the Site is used, and improve your browsing experience.

Cookies necessary for the store to function

Reporting and analytics

Session cookies last until you stop browsing; persistent cookies last until they expire or are deleted — typically between 30 minutes and two years. You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect parts of the Site.

Do Not Track

Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to “Do Not Track” browser signals, we do not currently alter our data practices in response to one.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.

Contact

For questions, requests, or complaints about our privacy practices, email us at [email protected] or write to us at 14 Hutchins Road, Bangalore – 560084, Karnataka, India. You can also reach us via the contact page.
