Terms of Service
Wear.Style is operated from Bengaluru, India. “Wear.Style”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator of the wear.style website and app; “you” means the person using it. By browsing, creating an account, or placing an order you accept these Terms and the policies linked below.
1. About Wear.Style
Wear.Style is an AI-first fashion platform and a curated online marketplace. Some pieces are sold by Wear.Style directly; others are listed and fulfilled by independent brands and designers through our seller programme (“Studio”). Where a piece is sold by an independent brand, Wear.Style facilitates the listing, checkout, payment and support, and the brand is responsible for the product itself, its description, and dispatch. Your order confirmation shows who is selling each item.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you use Wear.Style on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it. We may refuse service, close accounts, or cancel orders at our discretion, including where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or a breach of these Terms.
3. Your account
You can shop as a guest or create an account with an email address or a mobile number (verified by a one-time code). Keep your login details confidential — you are responsible for activity under your account. Give accurate, current information and keep it up to date. One person, one account; we may merge or close duplicate accounts. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
4. Products, descriptions and pricing
We try to describe pieces and show colours accurately, but screens vary and small differences are normal — a listing is not a guarantee that the item will be exactly as displayed on your device. Sizing guidance is indicative; measure and check each product’s size chart. Availability and prices can change without notice, and a piece shown as in stock may sell out while your order is being processed.
All transactions are processed in Indian Rupees (INR). Prices shown in another currency are an indicative conversion for your convenience and may differ slightly from the amount your bank or PayPal finally charges; the INR amount at checkout is the contract price. Prices include applicable Indian taxes (e.g. GST) where shown. Import duties, customs charges and local taxes on international orders are set by the destination country, are payable by the recipient on delivery, and are not included — see the Shipping Policy.
If we discover an error in a price, description, promotion, shipping charge or availability after you order, we may correct it and give you the choice to proceed at the corrected terms or cancel for a full refund.
5. Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email acknowledges we received it — it is not acceptance. The contract forms only when we dispatch the item (or, for a digital product, when we send the access link). Until then we may decline or cancel any order, in whole or part, for example because of a stock or pricing error, a payment or fraud check, delivery restrictions, or an unusually large or suspicious order. If we cancel a paid order we refund it in full.
6. Payment
We accept online card, UPI and net-banking payments through Cashfree Payments for delivery within India, and PayPal for international delivery. We do not offer Cash on Delivery. Payment is taken at checkout; a digital product is delivered only after payment is confirmed. Card, UPI and bank details are handled directly by the payment provider — Wear.Style never sees or stores them. We store only your order, its payment status and a provider reference.
7. Shipping, delivery and risk
Delivery timelines, charges and free-shipping thresholds are in the Shipping Policy. Provide a complete, correct address — parcels refused or returned because of a wrong address or non-collection may attract a restocking and re-shipping charge (see the Refund Policy). Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
8. Cancellations, returns and refunds
You can cancel an order any time before it is dispatched by emailing [email protected]. After dispatch, use the returns process. Return eligibility, the return window, non-returnable categories and refund timelines are set out in the Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be excluded.
9. Store credit and the wallet
Cashback, referral rewards and goodwill credits are held in your Wear.Style wallet as store credit. Store credit has no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, is not a payment instrument, and applies only to future Wear.Style orders (it does not cover shipping unless stated). Credits may carry an expiry, shown in your account. We may adjust, withhold or reverse credit that was issued in error or earned through abuse, self-referral, or fake orders or reviews. Earnings you accrue as a seller or affiliate are governed by the separate seller/affiliate terms and may be withdrawable as described there.
10. Offers, coupons and referrals
Only one coupon applies per order, and coupons generally exclude sale items and cannot be combined with other offers unless we say so. The referral programme rewards genuine referrals of new customers: a referred friend gets a first-order discount, and once they place a qualifying first order the referrer receives a store-credit coupon. We may change, suspend or withdraw any offer, coupon or the referral or affiliate programme at any time, and may void rewards linked to fraud or abuse.
11. Reviews and anything you post
Reviews, photos, comments and other content you submit must be your own, honest, and lawful — no false claims, spam, personal data of others, hateful or infringing material. All reviews are checked before they appear and we may edit for length or clarity or decline to publish. By submitting content you grant Wear.Style a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to host, display, reproduce and use it to operate and promote the service. We may remove any content and are not obliged to publish or keep it.
12. AI features
The AI Stylist and the shopping & support assistant are automated tools that generate suggestions and answers from your input, our catalogue and our policies. They are provided for convenience and general guidance only — they are not professional styling, sizing, legal, tax or financial advice, can be incomplete or wrong, and must not be relied on as the sole basis for a decision. Always check the actual product page, size chart and policies. Your conversations are stored (against your session, and your account if you are signed in), may be reviewed by our team, and are processed by our AI provider to answer you and improve the service — please don’t enter information you would not want stored. The assistant can look up an order only when you give it the order number and the mobile number on that order; it never reveals another customer’s details. We are not liable for outcomes based on AI output beyond the limits in section 16.
13. Digital products and subscriptions
Digital items (such as courses and digital passes) are delivered by an access link sent to your email once payment is confirmed. Because access is delivered immediately, digital products and subscription periods are non-refundable once the link has been sent, except where the content is faulty or not as described. Subscriptions are pre-paid for the stated period with no automatic renewal — access simply lapses at the end of the period and you renew by buying again. Your account shows the expiry date and a renew link.
14. Intellectual property
The Wear.Style name, logo, site design, text, graphics, software and the arrangement of the catalogue are owned by Wear.Style or its licensors and protected by law. Brand names, product images and designs belong to the respective brands. You may view and share links to pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, scrape, republish, resell, frame, or use our content, data or imagery to train a model or build a competing service without our written permission.
15. Acceptable use
Do not use Wear.Style to break the law or help others do so; to infringe anyone’s rights; to harass, abuse or discriminate; to submit false information or impersonate anyone; to place orders you do not intend to keep, or to buy for commercial resale; to probe, scan or test the security of the service; to introduce malware; or to scrape, crawl, or use bots, or to overload or interfere with the service or the AI features. We may rate-limit, suspend or terminate access for any of these.
16. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that AI output, search results or availability information will be accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wear.Style and its directors, employees, group companies, service providers and sellers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, or loss of profit, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Wear.Style and its group companies, officers, employees and agents against claims, losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your infringement of any law or third-party right.
18. Force majeure
We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, strikes, carrier or payment-provider failures, outages, government action, or public-health measures.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any non-excludable consumer right to approach a local forum, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction. Please raise any concern with us first through Grievance Redressal below — most issues are resolved quickly.
20. Grievance redressal
In line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, complaints about a product, an order, content on the site, or these Terms can be sent to our Grievance Officer at [email protected] or by post to Wear.Style, 14 Hutchins Road, Bengaluru – 560084, Karnataka, India. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.
21. The app and the home-screen version
Wear.Style is a website that can be added to your device’s home screen and used like an app. Whether you use it in a browser tab or as an installed app you are using the same service, and the same Terms and policies apply — installing it does not create a separate agreement or give you any additional rights. An installed copy stores site files and pages you have already viewed in your browser so it loads quickly and can show limited content without a connection; anything shown while you are offline may be out of date, and price, stock, availability and any order are confirmed only when you are back online at checkout. You can remove it at any time by deleting it from your home screen and clearing the site’s data in your browser, and we may change, limit or withdraw the installable and offline behaviour at any time.
22. Changes and general
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version here with a new effective date; continued use after that means you accept the change. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours to a successor of the business. These Terms and the linked policies are the entire agreement between you and us about the service.
